Procedures and Practices -
The College Store routinely and consistently does the following
Maintains aggressive used textbook purchasing strategies from both students and wholesalers
Offers coffee using Keurig system - ideal for "bring your own mug" dispensing
Recycles paper
Recycles plastic bottles and aluminium cans
Reuses bubble wrap and packing popcorn (both plastic and corn based)
Reuses packing paper and other packing materials
Reuses cardboard boxes for returns of textbooks and general books to publishers, distributors, and wholesalers
Provides campus community with used cardboard boxes when supply allows
Serves as a collection point for ink cartridges, cell phones, and expended batteries
Donates textbooks with no buyback value to area non-profit agencies and organizations
Offers convenient bike racks for "parking" while shopping
Uses plastic bags made from 50% recycled/reprocessed film
